"I, Rodolphus Adric Lestrange, do hereby bequeath everything I own to Corbina Avara Lestrange for her to distribute as she sees fit.
Signed and dated, February 24, 1969."
I was NINE. I was barely nine; who DOES THAT? He had a son. He had other family, and friends, and I was nine. Our mother is going to kill me. No, she'll wait for me to distribute things and then she is going to kill me. I cannot do this.
I want to thank everyone for being there for our family in our hour of need. It might take me a few days, but I promise that I will have everything distributed in the way that I feel as though Rodolphus would have done so had he been more diligent with record upkeep.
Are you feeling ill? You missed an appointment with Severus to discuss the library. And while one part of that seems plausible, the latter does not.
Pardon what might be seen as paranoia, but has anyone seen Rodolphus today? He missed breakfast and is a growing boy who needs his fiber.
But all humour aside, does anyone have any information as to where he is? The houseelves has already checked the house, so I know he isn't guarding his wine storage from Mr. Nott and Mr. Avery for once.
Narcissa, Julianne, Danaƫ, I was wondering if you three would do me the honour of serving as bridesmaids in the wedding? Astra has already agreed to be my maid of honour, which I am incredibly thankful for.
I've acquired a new text on ancient runes. (Almost an oxymoron, that.) I am finding myself stuck on some of the translations, though. Would you be willing to assist a traumatised girl's education?[/Rodolphus]
I am attempting to keep Rodolphus distracted, but I feel as if it would be in the world's best interest if he remained on the property for the rest of the night. If he makes a run for it, would you be willing to distract him with something loquacious?
I shouldn't be out. I shouldn't have left the others when nearly all of them are less capable of fighting back than I am.Mirielle was n
If there's anything I can do to help get the others back, I will do that. Dangerous or not.
I'm engaged. You should all know first.
I've been doing some thinking on possible ways that Dumbledore's followers might have managed to get out of the school even with the members of the Outer Circle on campus to attempt to prevent this: I realise that "What Ifs" from the past are likely not your greatest concern at the moment when we have the future to consider, but I wanted to offer it as a suggestion nonetheless.
It's highly likely that not every member of their group was at the castle fighting. Perhaps even some managed to get out through the Forbidden Forest before the siege. Those on the outside and the inside would have been able to stay in constant communication through warded journal entries. Many of us learned the hard way that their sorts have experience creating portkeys that go off unofficially back in October. If they were able to get those into the school (and unfortunately, an owl is easier to disillusion than a person, especially if it flew in over the water rather than the forest), it could be a possible explanation for a mass escape when none of ours saw a thing. They would never have had to leave the castle.
It is just a thought, though, but one that I wanted to bring up. Perhaps they have someone in the Portkey office that we were not aware of.
